Bambini Montessori Academy is growing and seeking full-time and/or part-time teachers. The positions available are as follows:

Lead Teachers for Pre-K and Infant/Toddler:

Teachers are responsible for implementing curriculum, maintaining excellent classroom management, tracking and assessing development of students, and following all other Bambini Montessori Academy  policies and procedures.

Duties include:

Planning developmentally-appropriate activities while implementing the Montessori Preschool curriculum.

Continuously keeping observations and assessments of student progress, performing care giving duties and completing daily reporting to parents.

All teachers work to create a nurturing and comforting environment where children develop a lifelong confidence and desire to explore their world, while creating a partnership with parents for support the child through their preschool years.

 

Teacher Qualifications: 

Prior one year childcare or teaching experience is required.

Willingness to apply for and maintain certification through the MD Childcare Credential.

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice.

Nurturing and calm personality and able to love all children.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) is required.

MUST be a team player who is compassionate and has a strong desire to teach young children.

90 hour certificate in early childhood, hold a CDA, and/or at least one college course in Early Education Classes approved for Infant & Toddlers.

A degree in Education or a related field and/or Montessori Credentials is strongly desired but not required. Ability to follow direction, be flexible, create and implement curriculum’s as well as routines is a MUST.
